I. Discipleship is Christ-Centered

Romans 6:5 – "For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his."

Romans 6:8 – "Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him."

Romans 5:7-8 – "For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

II. Discipleship is Other-Centered

1. Read the Word with Others

2. Spend Time with Others

3. Use Your Talents with Others

4. Use Your Treasures with Others

5. Pray with Others

6. Worship with Others

Romans 1:11–12 – "For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you—that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine."
